Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of maintenance technicians and grounds staff at a residential community. You will manage daily operations, safety, inspections, and work orders, ensuring quality workmanship and resident service while coordinating with environmental and safety teams.

This role requires at least three years in property management or maintenance, supervisory experience, and knowledge of OSHA rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of property management or maintenance operations experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Solid knowledge of property and facilities management and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, finances, procurement, and staff for the maintenance team.
• Supervise trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) to ensure quality work.
• Coach for safety, PPE, and OSHA compliance.
• Assign and track work orders to meet response times and standards.
• Coordinate with environmental and safety teams on related work.
• Maintain OSHA logs and SDS documentation.
• Manage preventive maintenance for HVAC and facilities.
