Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead site maintenance and reliability programs at our Dickerson, MD facility. You will drive best practices for maintenance, reliability, mechanical integrity, and quality assurance across a multi-skill team including mechanics and E&I technicians.

You will partner with EHS, operations, and engineering to deliver asset reliability improvements, cost control, and capital planning while coordinating outages and long-term maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• Waste-to-Energy maintenance experience or solid power/industrial/chemical plant maintenance background with 5+ years supervisory experience
• Engineering degree preferred
• Identify needs for improvement and implement change
• Maintenance budgeting knowledge and methodologies
• Manage spare parts inventory to optimum levels
• Proficiency with electrical and instrumentation, NEC, NFPA Arc Flash awareness
• Work management processes including planning & scheduling and preventive maintenance
• Familiar with RCFA and FMEA
• Lean, 5S and reliability improvements tools to boost cost performance

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and environmental stewardship within maintenance operations.
• Plan, develop, and implement methods to improve operations and reduce costs.
• Lead selection, development, coaching, and performance of the maintenance team.
• Manage Maintenance Shops for Mechanical and E&I crafts.
• Forecast attrition and plan for hiring in maintenance.
• Develop a 5-year long-term maintenance plan and annual budgets.
