Job summary

Reworld Waste in Massachusetts is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability at a waste-to-energy facility. You will drive safety, asset performance, outages, and a high-performing team of mechanics, electricians, and instrumentation technicians.

Reporting to site leadership, you will shape maintenance strategies, optimize CMMS usage, and partner with Operations, Engineering, and EHS to improve reliability and control costs.

Qualifications

• Waste-to-Energy maintenance experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience required.
• Engineering degree preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including the NEC.
• Familiarity with NFPA Arc Flash safety requirements.
• Proficiency in work management processes, including planning, scheduling, and preventive maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing major maintenance outages.
• Thorough understanding of Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance programs.
• Experience with RCFA and FMEA.
• Solid understanding of Lean, 5S, and reliability process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship and operational excellence.
• Lead maintenance planning, scheduling, and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets and a rolling 5-year strategy.
• Lead outage planning and execution with cost/time safety.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and EHS to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment performance.
