Job summary

PaperWorks is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the day-to-day maintenance operations and drive continuous improvement. The role requires a strong technical background and strategic focus on reliability to support multi-shift production lines.

The ideal candidate will hold a engineering/management degree and 3+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume environment, with CMMS, ERP/MRP and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, business administration or related field, plus 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret information in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Detail oriented, organized and energetic.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• MRP/ERP system experience and knowledge.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Experience using a CMMS to manage PM schedules, work orders and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance department operations with a long-term improvement focus.
• Manage direct reports: training, coaching, discipline on safety, quality, productivity.
• Set job expectations and evaluate performance; determine compensation accordingly.
• Maintain high customer service standards, quality control, PM goals, uptime, facilities upkeep.
• Ensure PMs are scheduled, documented and equipment ready for production.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements including OSHA and SafeStart.
• Monitor direct reports using KPIs.
• Manage annual budgeting, monitor expenditures, variances, corrective actions.
• Keep equipment safe via proper use, troubleshoot breakdowns, oversee PM/repairs.
• Drive continuous improvement per PaperWorks Reliability Roadmap.
• Record and track maintenance via CMMS.
• Support planning and execution of equipment capital projects.
