Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a high-performing team, ensuring maintenance tasks meet the company standards and safety requirements. You will partner with the Community Manager and Property Manager to keep operations smooth and deliver market-ready homes across our platforms.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, knowledge of housing laws, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC.
• Experience in property management, hospitality, or retail.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire if required based on the needs of the community.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Effective written and oral English communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Community Manager to achieve property objectives.
• Ensure the team adheres to Equity standards and handle resident service requests promptly and safely.
• Assist the team with maintenance tasks and prepare market-ready apartments.
• Analyze property management system data and provide recommendations for financial concerns.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager on capital improvements and inventory control.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and prepare status reports.
