Kelly Services is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a premier manufacturing client in Syracuse, NY. The role focuses on leading a maintenance team, optimizing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and ISO compliance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 50001, 9001, 14001 or similar standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team to meet goals.
• Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Establish and maintain detailed maintenance records and logs.
• Ensure energy efficiency, ISO compliance, and green initiatives alignment.
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and parts procurement.
• Coordinate third-party contractors and vendors for specialized services.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and maintenance processes.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams.
