Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team across Mooresville, NC communities. You will oversee maintenance and preventive maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, major appliances and amenities, ensuring operations meet Vivmark’s standards and all applicable laws.

Requirements: 3–5 years in apartment maintenance, 2+ years of people management, EPA Type I/II and CPO where applicable, on‑call within 1 hour, and strong communication with

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in apartment maintenance or related field with strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features, fitness equipment and waste management.
• Understanding of boilers, chillers, sprinklers and steam systems.
• Experience with emergency systems, shutoffs, and operation sequences.
• 2+ years of people management experience; ability to supervise and coach.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and preventive maintenance for one or more communities.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, and amenities.
• Ensure operations meet Vivmark's standards and applicable laws.
• Conduct property visits and work with on-site supervisor to improve performance.
• Maintain oversight of maintenance operations.
