Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations and personnel, including apartment turns, daily tasks, safety, and vendor coordination.

You will ensure high standards of service, compliance with OSHA, and effective staffing, while maintaining positive relationships with internal teams and residents. The role requires on-call availability and a detail-oriented, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Must hold HVAC certification and CPO certification.
• Minimum 2 years in handyman or maintenance roles.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Proven ability to maintain positive internal/external relationships.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise service personnel including housekeeping/custodial and grounds staff.
• Interview and hire staff; train and evaluate performance; schedule with property manager.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks including apartment turns and work orders.
• Maintain rooms, tools, and equipment; improve maintenance processes.
• Manage vendor work and inventory of supplies for service teams.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety policies at all times; handle on-call duties.
