Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at our Mesa property. You will oversee daily tasks, schedule upkeep, and ensure safety and quality across buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities include interviewing or assisting with hiring, training staff, coordinating vendors, maintaining inventory, and enforcing OSHA standards. The role is full-time, on-site with 24-hour on-call support as needed; compensation is $28–$30/hour.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge is required.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and strong communication.
• Experience in property maintenance/handyman and supervisory duties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks, prep vacant units for occupancy and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening and recommending staff for service, housekeeping/custodial, and grounds roles.
• Train all service, housekeeping/custodial, and grounds personnel; supervise vendor work.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory; ensure OSHA safety standards are followed.
• Respond to on-call service requests and manage lock-outs post-evictions.
• Coordinate purchasing and delivery of supplies for service, custodial and grounds teams.
