Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Glendale, AZ to oversee the maintenance team and perform upkeep of buildings and grounds. You will schedule daily tasks, supervise staff, train personnel, and ensure safety policies are followed.

Required: knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems; strong communication; prior supervisory experience preferred; willingness to be on-call and respond to service requests as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks, including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and making recommendations for service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Assist in training of service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Be responsible for inventory, ordering, and delivery of supplies for service, custodial, and grounds departments.
