Techo-Bloc seeks an innovative and passionate Maintenance Manager to oversee our Saint-Hubert plants. You will develop preventive and proactive maintenance programs and coach our maintenance team by exemplifying thoroughness and proactivity.

Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day:

• Utilize your mechanical and electrical expertise to oversee plant repairs and maintenance projects;
• Manage a team of technicians, forklift drivers, and store clerks;
• Oversee work orders in the ERP system for timely maintenance;
• Model and reinforce health and safety practices;
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs;
• Manage procurement of materials and supplies to ensure proper inventory and minimize failures;
• Manage maintenance costs and budgets;
• Implement project management practices;
• Lead troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical breakdowns;
• Maintain detailed equipment maintenance records;
• Collaborate with operations, R&D, contractors, and vendors;
• Assist with fabrication calculations and layout;
• Apply Lean (TPM), safety, and ergonomic principles;
• Spend 50-60% of time on the shop floor;
• Work a Monday to Friday schedule, with flexibility to support 3 facilities operating 130 hours weekly.

  Your Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or related field;
  • 7-10 years in manufacturing and industrial maintenance;
  • Minimum five years of team management experience;
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and mechanics;
  • Experience with PLCs and automation;
  • Proven ability to mentor and train teams in mechanical and electrical areas.
