Job summary

Penn Aluminum International LLC in Murphysboro, Illinois, is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Manager to lead the plant maintenance function, drive reliability, and manage budgets. You will own preventive and predictive maintenance programs and partner with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance, with experience in PM/PdM, RCA, and safety standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (24/7 operations preferred).
Demonstrated knowledge of industrial maintenance practices across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience building and sustaining PM/PdM programmes and driving reliability improvements (RCA, FMEA, failure elimination).
Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices (including LOTO).
Experience planning/scheduling maintenance work, managing backlog, and using a CMMS to manage work orders and asset history.

Responsibilities

Lead plant maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operation of production and facility equipment.
Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
Manage maintenance labor and contractors; partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and EHS.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for repeat failures.
Coordinate weekly outages and downtime planning with Operations.
Manage maintenance budget, overtime, and MRO inventory; report metrics.
