Job summary

Maker’s Pride in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead, develop and execute all maintenance activities across production and packaging.

You will supervise about 35 maintenance staff, drive KPIs, manage PM programs and work orders, and ensure equipment reliability while upholding safety and GMP awareness.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and offers a competitive salary with a discretionary annual incentive and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Five to seven years of related experience with demonstrated leadership of a Maintenance department.
• Experience in food or pharmaceutical industries preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Experience implementing CMMS and maintenance programs (predictive & preventive).

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, manage and execute maintenance activities with customers, suppliers, and staff.
• Create and deliver KPIs for the Maintenance department.
• Maintain equipment parts inventory and manage PM program and work orders.
• Develop and improve SOPs for maintenance programs to meet company and customer requirements.
• Evaluate direct reports against performance goals and collaborate with Corporate on best practices.
• Maintain safety, GMP awareness, and effective communication across teams.
