Job summary

Cindavi in Conway, South Carolina is seeking a Plant Maintenance Manager to lead a 24/7 metal-manufacturing operation. You will own the maintenance department, move from reactive firefighting to preventive maintenance, and drive reliability while improving planning and safety.

You will coach a team of technicians on the factory floor, collaborate with Operations and Engineering, troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs, and manage projects involving hydraulics, cooling systems, and automation upgrades

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent credentials considered.
• 5+ years of maintenance leadership in heavy-industrial environments.
• Hands-on Allen-Bradley PLC and drive experience.
• Strong mechanical/industrial-maintenance experience (hydraulics, plant utilities).
• Experience leading maintenance in metals, foundry, automotive, or high-volume production.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities, priorities, development, and accountability of the maintenance team in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
• Spend significant time on the floor supporting production, safety, engineering, troubleshooting, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Improve preventive and predictive maintenance execution, scheduling discipline, and reliability while reducing emergency-response work.
• Personally troubleshoot and manipulate existing Allen-Bradley PLC and drive programs, and provide technical direction on automation and controls issues.
• Lead projects involving hydraulics, compressed air, cooling water, chillers, cooling towers, bridge cranes, plant layout, and equipment improvements.
• Develop scopes, schedules, cost estimates, and justifications for maintenance and engineering projects.
• Coach and develop hourly maintenance personnel through training, mentoring, performance management, and clear expectations.

We are hiring a Plant Maintenance Manager to lead and strengthen maintenance operations at our 24/7 metal-manufacturing facility in Conway, South Carolina.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who is equally comfortable on the plant floor, in front of a control panel, and coaching a maintenance team. • 5+ years of maintenance leadership or management experience in a demanding heavy-industrial environment.
• Hands‑on Allen‑Bradley PLC and drive experience, including the ability to troubleshoot and modify existing programs rather than only supervise vendors or technicians.
• Strong mechanical and industrial-maintenance experience, including hydraulics and exposure to plant utility systems such as compressed air, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Experience leading maintenance in metals, foundry, automotive, tire manufacturing, or another comparable high-volume production environment.
