Hunter Shore Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a growing food and dairy manufacturing facility in Texas. This hands-on leader will oversee day-to-day maintenance, drive reliability, and partner with Operations and Quality to reduce downtime.
The role requires strong technical credibility with experience in automated packaging, PLCs, and maintenance planning, with relocation offered where applicable.
MAINTENANCE MANAGER | FOOD & DAIRY MANUFACTURING | TEXAS
We are partnering with a growing food manufacturer to identify a Maintenance Manager for a highly invested manufacturing facility in Texas.
This is a newly created position within a plant that has significant growth ahead. The facility operates 24/7, has recently added new production capabilities and is expected to double capacity by the end of 2027.
We aren't looking for someone who manages maintenance from an office.
The team wants a “floor general”—a technically strong, hands-on leader who understands the equipment, can diagnose what's happening on a line and has the leadership and organizational skills to build a highly effective maintenance operation.
What you'll be taking on:
We're particularly interested in leaders who have grown through the technical ranks and bring significant food/dairy manufacturing experience. You'll need the technical credibility to challenge your team and solve problems, but equally important is the ability to lead people, create accountability and build strong partnerships with Operations.
The Texas Panhandle offers a different quality of life—affordable housing, short commutes, wide-open spaces and year-round outdoor recreation, along with a strong manufacturing and agricultural community. It's an opportunity to have more space, less congestion and a lower cost of living while building your career within a growing manufacturing operation.
Please note that relocation will be offered, if applicable.
