Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a fast-paced Florida food manufacturing operation. You will lead maintenance teams, own preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and drive reliability and continuous improvement to keep production moving.

The role requires 5–10+ years in food/beverage maintenance, 3+ years in leadership, and strong electrical/mechanical systems knowledge, including PLCs and CMMS. Occasional off-shift support may be needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of maintenance experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
• 3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
• Electrical Engineering strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems; PLCs, automation, controls, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians across multiple shifts.
• Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and maintenance performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, PLC/automation, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Sanitation to support production goals.
• Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and implement lasting solutions.
• Drive TPM, Lean, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, inventory, contractors, and vendors.
• Lead equipment installations, commissioning, upgrades, and improvement projects.
• Track maintenance KPIs, including downtime, PM completion, and MTBF.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet OSHA, FDA, GMP, food safety, and facility standards.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance organization for a high-volume production operation in Florida. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to build strong maintenance teams, improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and keep production moving.

What You'll Lead

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians across multiple shifts
• Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and overall maintenance performance
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, PLC/automation, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience with PLCs, automation, controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Working knowledge of CMMS and preventive/predictive maintenance programs
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop skilled maintenance professionals
• Experience in baking, high-speed packaging, or high-volume production is a plus
