Job summary

Relate Search in Rochester-Austin, MN, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability in a high-volume, low-mix manufacturing operation.

You will develop and coach a maintenance team, drive preventive and predictive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and downtime reduction, and partner with Production, Engineering and Quality to meet production goals. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressive maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibility.
• Experience supporting low-mix, high-volume manufacturing operations; Food & Beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability.
• Demonstrated success leading maintenance teams and improving uptime, productivity, and overall maintenance performance.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all plant maintenance and reliability activities to maximize equipment uptime, production efficiency, and overall facility performance
• Develop, coach, and lead the maintenance team while establishing clear expectations around safety, accountability, and execution
• Strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance programs while driving root cause analysis and long-term equipment reliability improvements
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other functions to resolve equipment issues and support production objectives
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime, controlling maintenance costs, and improving asset performance

Job description

Relate Search has partnered with a national Food & Beverage manufacturer to identify an experienced Maintenance Manager for its Rochester-Austin, Minnesota area operation. This key leadership role will oversee maintenance and reliability within a low-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment, with responsibility for improving equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting continued operational growth. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on leadership approach, strong technical maintenance expertise, and a proven ability to develop teams and improve reliability in fast-paced manufacturing operations.
