Torrey Holistics is seeking a Production Maintenance Manager to lead the site's maintenance function, drive equipment reliability, and support plant performance.

You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, coach the team, prioritize resources, and collaborate on capital projects; a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical eng or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of maintenance engineering or production operations in manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation.
• Experience with rotating equipment and PLCs preferred.

Job description

The Production Maintenance Manager leads the site's maintenance function, driving equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and plant performance. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance activities, develops and coaches maintenance team members, manages maintenance priorities and resources, and supports facility and equipment improvement projects. Success in this position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team, setting priorities and coordinating activities to support safe, efficient operations.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and the upkeep of production equipment, facilities, and utilities.
• Support capital projects and maintenance planning by coordinating resources, contractors, tools and technical requirements.
• Monitor maintenance performance, analyze equipment reliability, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and overall plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent working experience.
• 5-8 years of maintenance engineering or production operations within a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years in a leadership position with direct reports.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and basic engineering aspects of production equipment. Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
• Preferred: experience with rotating equipment and PLCs.
