Job summary

Freudenberg Performance Materials in Macon, GA, is hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead and develop the maintenance team, ensuring safe and efficient operations across production facilities.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support capital projects, driving improvements in reliability and plant performance while complying with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent working experience.
• 5-8 years of maintenance engineering or production operations within a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years in a leadership position with direct reports.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and basic engineering aspects of production equipment.
• Preferred: experience with rotating equipment and PLCs.

• Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and the upkeep of production equipment, facilities, and utilities.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and overall plant performance.
