Position

You will support our team as a Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled maintenance support to proactively identify and prevent failure points in operational equipment by interpreting operator feedback, understanding machine status indications and functions, and recommending actions.
• Contribute to improving our maintenance management system through Root Cause Analysis and error resolution with a preventive approach.
• Collaborate with electrical, process, and reliability colleagues to prioritize tasks and investments for operational needs.
• Support and maintain equipment according to ISO/TS quality standards, providing feedback to prevent deviations in critical processes.
• Maintain, repair, and upgrade process equipment including blowers, compressors, extruders, heaters, dehumidifiers, web conveying, winding, and slitting.
• Support plant utilities such as steam, compressed air, chilled water, and cooling systems.
• Assist in the design, installation, startup, shutdown, and maintenance of new or modified equipment following safety standards.
• Supervise and assist contract personnel to ensure safe and quality work.
• Maintain high standards for workmanship and housekeeping, contributing to cleanliness and 5S adherence.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties, providing maintenance expertise and support.
• Train other maintenance personnel to improve equipment reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in Industrial Systems or related field; certifications in PLCs, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics are beneficial.
• 0-5 years of industrial maintenance experience; experience with extrusion, plastics, web handling, or winding is a plus.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems is preferred.
• Understanding of rotating equipment failure modes and maintenance techniques.
• Training in pipefitting, sheet metal fabrication, and welding is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to work overtime and support 24/7 operations, including on-call rotation.
• Ability to obtain certifications for Powered Industrial Trucks and Aerial Lift Equipment on site.
