Job summary

Brookstone Estates, Emerald Glen, & Grand Victorian seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the community safety program and manage a maintenance team responsible for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep.

This role also spends about 20% of hours performing hands-on maintenance, responds promptly to requests, enforces OSHA requirements, and delivers safety training and drills for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in HVAC systems and/or electrical required.
• Prior senior living experience desired.
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Community safety program and maintains a secure resident home and working environment in compliance with policy and regulations.
• Sustains a preventative maintenance program to maintain proper functioning of all Community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the maintenance team in providing exceptional services.
• Approximately 20% of hours will be spent performing maintenance responsibilities alongside the team.
• Completes all maintenance requests, both scheduled and emergency, quickly and efficiently.
• Conducts inventory on chemical supplies and complies with proper storage and usage procedures.
• Implements safety protocols and procedures to avert incidents and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Performs exterior maintenance duties as necessary.
• Delivers fire and disaster education and performs preparation and drill activities with residents and team members.
