Job Description:We’re seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Manager to help operate and maintain some of the most essential environments in our portfolio—including Class A commercial properties and complex healthcare facilities. In this role, you're not just performing maintenance—you’re playing a direct role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and building occupants.You’ll handle day-to-day operations, preventative maintenance, and on-call support across a portfolio where uptime, compliance, and quality are paramount. That means proactively identifying issues, collaborating closely with stakeholders, and delivering a standard of service that reflects the essential nature of these environments.What You’ll DoDirect, schedule, supervise and perform preventive maintenance work, service response, equipment repairs and projects on assigned managed properties and 3rd party maintenance.Solicit bids and monitor performance from subcontractors for all necessary testing and inspection on buildings mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and building automation systems.Proactively work with property manager/Chief Engineer to ensure:Proper services are provided to the buildingsDevelopment, monitoring of building budgetsProject planning and completionTenant Improvement planning and coordinationDevelopment or adjustment and implementation of building emergency plans.Respond professionally and expeditiously to tenant and service requests.Respond professionally and expeditiously to tenant and service requestsMonitor/order and approve purchases for building supplies and materials.Participate in on call, after hours and weekend rotation.Supervise three to five maintenance engineers and or maintenance techniciansWho You AreAn experienced, service-driven Lead Engineer who understands the stakes of maintaining critical environmentsComfortable working independently in high-performance spaces, including those with sensitive or regulated systemsSkilled in troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance with a focus on minimizing downtimeCapable of physical tasks (lifting, overhead work, ladder use, outdoor conditions)A confident communicator who can build rapport with internal teams and building occupants alikeHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredValid driver’s license and clean driving record requiredBasic computer skills required; familiarity with Microsoft 365 is a plusCandidate Requirements:Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in the operation of commercial buildings and equipment preferred.Minimum five years experience in commercial or industrial building operations.Universal CFC, SMA, SMT, LEED certification, others as applicable a plus.Good computer literacy in Word, Excel and computerized maintenance management systems.Comprehensive understanding of energy management system.Experience working within budget constraints preferred.Bonus Points If You HavePrior experience supporting healthcare facilities or regulated environmentsWorking knowledge of HVAC systems and basic controlsHigh proficiency with Microsoft 365 and digital maintenance toolsCompensation:The annual salary is $80,000 - 95,000 per year.
