## Maintenance Engineer REM/RBSApplyremote type: On-Sitelocations: Cedar Rapidstime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-101855**Job Description:****Job Description:**Ryan Companies is hiring a Maintenance Engineer to execute preventive maintenance, demand and general repairs, and adjustments to building systems, equipment, and fixtures as required. This role serves a downtown Cedar Rapids commercial property. Participation in an on-call rotation is a requirement of this position.**What you will do:*** Perform preventive maintenance duties on building equipment and systems as scheduled* Manage and/or assist subcontractors with preventive maintenance, repairs and projects occurring on building systems, equipment, or property* Respond to, evaluate, and complete tenant service work orders in a timely and professional manner* Work with the property manager and chief engineer to ensure proper services are provided to the building(s), and to assist with project planning and tenant improvement coordination* Maintain mechanical rooms, utility rooms and vacant areas in a neat and clean condition daily.* Monitor energy system equipment, adjust set-points as needed, and record actions and time associated daily* Ensure Fire/Life/Safety equipment is performing as designed* Participate in on-call, after-hours, and weekend work when necessary* Complete all Ryan Companies required training and safety programs* Provide exceptional customer service and exceed expectations* Lead by example in alignment with the Ryan values with staff and co-workers* Possess a proactive and collaborative, solution-oriented approach* Is self-motivated and works well in a team environment.
