Job summary

LHH is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability for a large fleet of heavy mobile equipment supporting critical production operations. This onsite role focuses on maximizing uptime, safety, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, leadership in an industrial setting, and strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical systems, and heavy equipment repair.
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software.
• Proactive leader who drives continuous improvement and safety.

Our client is seeking a safety-focused, results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance and reliability efforts for a large fleet of heavy mobile equipment supporting critical production operations. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on equipment performance, team development, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead all maintenance activities for a fleet of heavy mobile equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage equipment repairs, rebuilds, and vendor service relationships.
• Supervise and develop maintenance technicians and mechanics in a unionized environment.
• Partner closely with operations leadership to support production goals and minimize downtime.
• Oversee maintenance inventory, budgeting, and key performance metrics.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within an industrial, manufacturing, recycling, construction, quarry, steel, or similar environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical systems, and heavy equipment repair.
• Experience utilizing CMMS or maintenance management software.
• A proactive leader who can build strong relationships, hold teams accountable, and drive continuous improvement.
• Safety-first mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision‑making abilities

Work Schedule: Onsite

Compensation: $100-120k base
