Job summary

Village Green is seeking a Maintenance Service Manager in Centerville, OH to oversee the maintenance department and ensure the apartment community remains well-maintained and inviting. You will guide a maintenance team, oversee work orders, and manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, apartment, hospital maintenance/engineering.
• 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to create a team, mentor, and train a team.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers, and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of maintenance staff including delegation of work orders, special projects and time management techniques.
• Inspect and oversee existing work orders through completion.
• Manage HVAC, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests.
• Mentor and train new and existing maintenance staff members.
• Involved with interviewing and selection of new maintenance team members.
• Provide written monthly energy management recommendations for the building.
• Identify capital improvements and obtain required estimates/bids.
• Assist in budget preparation for maintenance expenses.

Job Description
