Job summary

Village Green is seeking an immediate Maintenance Technician to handle work orders, plumbing and electrical service requests, and apartment turns. You will work to maintain property aesthetics and safety while delivering excellent resident service.

You may be asked to assist with housekeeping, snow removal, and pool area maintenance as needed. On-call and weekend availability are required to support multifamily housing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting is required.
• Plumbing, contracting, builder's certifications and licenses are a plus.
• Availability for on-call and weekend work when necessary.
• Bilingual candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects.
• Complete plumbing and electrical service requests.
• Complete apartment turns including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair/replacement.
• Serve residents in a positive, customer-service focused manner.
• Diagnose problems and perform repairs.
• Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager.
• Maintain exterior of the property and provide curb appeal.
• Perform housekeeping duties and snow removal during winter months.
• Maintain pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable.

The Maintenance Technician responsibilities will include:

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects
• Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests
• Completion of apartment turns including...

• Servicing residents in a positive, customer service focused manner
• Diagnosingproblems and repairs
• Respondingto all service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, completing requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assistingin maintaining the exterior of the property daily to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times
• Housekeeping duties as required, as well as snow removal during winter months, when needed
• Performing property maintenance of pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable
