Job Description

1. Ensure best practices for machinery safety.
2. Supervise electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repairs.
3. Assist in diagnosing machinery malfunctions.
4. Oversee dismantling, assembling, and installing machinery.
5. Develop programs for spare parts procurement and maintenance documentation in CMMS.
6. Implement preventive maintenance systems to maximize machine uptime.
7. Estimate worker hours based on production schedules.
8. Enforce safety regulations and interpret policies.
9. Read blueprints, specifications, and assign duties accordingly.
10. Adjust work procedures to meet production goals.
11. Recommend improvements for production, equipment, and quality.
12. Suggest working condition and equipment use enhancements.
13. Resolve work problems and motivate staff.
14. Prepare maintenance budgets and oversee expenses.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. Problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
2. Understanding of safety, business implications, and cost management.
3. Innovative thinking and safety awareness.
4. Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4-10 years related experience; mechanical/electrical engineering degree preferred.
5. Ability to interpret technical documents and present information effectively.
6. Mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills including CMMS and manufacturing software.
7. No specific licenses required, OSHA 30-hour recommended.
8. Supervisory responsibilities include hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline.
