Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead to support manufacturing by executing a preventive maintenance program compliant with ISO 9001 QMS requirements. You will work with internal and external resources to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance, leading the maintenance crew and collaborating across functions.

The role requires at least 2+ years of related experience, strong electrical skills, and the ability to install wiring and conduits for new equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent.
• Work Experience: 2+ years.
• PPE Required: Steel toe shoes, Safety glasses, Ear protection.
• Lead others and projects to completion.
• Locate and install new plant equipment.
• Strong electrical skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs process machinery and hydraulic equipment.
• Attends safety meetings and may serve on Safety Committee.
• Ensures equipment cleanliness and performs safety inspections.
• Provides direction for maintenance crew and daily activities.
• Performs preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Inspects own and others' work per company requirements.
• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for machines and robots.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning equipment and replaces damaged parts.
• Trains other maintenance personnel.
• Works with EHS and plant leadership on safety procedures.
