Cornerstone Building Brands in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance activities, prioritize work, and guide a team of technicians to maximize equipment uptime. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, ability to read schematics, and hands-on leadership to train and develop staff.

You will coordinate safety practices, maintain PM programs, and support production with rapid problem solving.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Demonstrated mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Experience troubleshooting motors, controls, sensors, pneumatic systems, and industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance technicians.
Prioritize maintenance work based on production requirements, safety, equipment condition, and downtime.
Assign work orders and maintenance tasks to technicians based on skill level and priority.
Provide technical guidance and assistance to maintenance personnel.
Monitor completion of preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance activities.
Communicate equipment issues, downtime, and maintenance priorities to management and production supervision.
Assist with training and development of maintenance technicians.
Maintain a professional, safety-focused maintenance team environment.
