Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at our properties. The role covers HVAC, plumbing and electrical oversight, scheduling daily tasks, and ensuring safety and compliance.

You will supervise service, housekeeping/custodial, and grounds staff, train personnel, and manage inventory and vendor coordination. This on-site position offers full-time hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and recommending for service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Assist in training of all service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Handle lock-outs and ensure 24-hour response to service requests.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
