Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. in Sedalia, MO seeks a Maintenance Technician to assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department tasks while ensuring proper communication to the team and timely execution of assignments.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and rebuild equipment, work with production managers to meet daily goals, and lead team members or contractors in a fast-paced environment on a 1st shift.

Qualifications

• 3 months mechanical experience or enrolled or completed an automotive/mechanical degree or training.
• Government identification number required for Tyson employment verification.
• Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• No rehire for former Tyson Team Members terminated for gross misconduct.
• If you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Rebuilding equipment as determined necessary by supervisor

• Repairing equipment as necessary in the event of mechanical failure
