Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate plant maintenance, lead a team of 15 technicians, and ensure a safe, clean production environment. The role involves directing repairs, managing preventative maintenance and training staff to uphold SQF and GMP standards.

The position requires weekend work and a shift (C Shift). A strong background in PLC, SAP, and MS Office is preferred, with an Associates degree or equivalent experience in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Lead, direct, evaluate and train a staff of 15 maintenance technicians.
• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program for equipment and plant.
• Diagnose basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing and PLC problems and direct repairs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Foster a Safety First culture among staff and ensure GMP compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance policies, procedures and shift work to maintain production schedules.
