Job summary

Medline Industries, LP seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform maintenance supporting daily operations and asset reliability. You will ensure safe operation of production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and lead improvement efforts across electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing/distribution, a high school diploma or equivalent, CMMS familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or distribution with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
• Must furnish own hand tools; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; willingness to overtime and have flexible schedule; CMMS basics, exporting data, and basic graphics for asset problems.
• Electrical: switchgear, transformers, PLCs, relays, and motor control centers maintenance.
• Electronics: troubleshoot AC/DC power equipment, PLCs, and monitoring equipment.
• Mechanical: advanced troubleshooting and parts modification/replacement.
• Pneumatic/Hydraulic: maintain/repair pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Additional trades: welding, plumbing, carpentry; ladder logic programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve safety issues.
• Maintain machinery and equipment under supervision of Maintenance Manager.
• Support maintenance programs and coach technicians.
• Lead RCA teams in problem-solving projects.
• Record maintenance issues and provide project management for systems or contractors.
• Train and lead maintenance technicians and junior staff.
• Partner with management to ensure a consistent maintenance program.
