Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Lead for an apartment community in Santa Clara. You will supervise and perform maintenance and make-ready tasks, ensure safety and code compliance, and coordinate with an Area Maintenance Manager across multiple tasks.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart. Expect weekends/on-call scheduling and a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or related experience.
• EPA certifications Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart.

Responsibilities

• Lead/perform completion of work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Lead make-ready process for vacant apartments and schedule vendors.
• Manage materials and inventory for maintenance department.
• Coordinate inspections via Leonardo 247, Entrata, and others.
• Complete documentation to track service requests.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Support cost-saving by fixing instead of replacing parts.
