Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee inside/outside community upkeep, ground and common areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and high standards. You will manage service requests, unit turns, and vendor coordination in a dynamic Santa Maria, CA property.

The role requires 3–5 years in service supervision, hands-on maintenance, and EPA HVAC certifications. A valid driver’s license is needed; on-site work and on-call duties apply, with a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in property maintenance preferred.
• 3–5 years as a service supervisor or similar role in property management.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications for HVAC work where applicable.
• Ability to lead a team, coordinate vendors, and manage work orders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee make-ready process and unit turns for leasing readiness.
• Review and complete resident service requests and repairs promptly.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with vendors to stay within budget.
• Lead safety practices, conduct audits, and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Assist in budget development and cost-control initiatives.
• Provide exceptional resident and team communications and support.
