Job summary

Wendover Management is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Lead for its multifamily community in Orlando. You will spearhead day-to-day maintenance, mentor a team, and drive safety, efficiency, and quality across repairs and preventive care.

In this role, you will manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance upkeep, while coordinating with the Community Manager to ensure resident satisfaction and timely turnovers. A strong work ethic and service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• 4+ years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) preferred, CAMT/CPO optional.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of community maintenance, including repairs and apartment turns.
• Supervise maintenance team scheduling and daily coordination.
• Respond to resident service requests with urgency, professionalism, and care.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, appliances, electrical systems, irrigation, and more.
• Prepare vacant apartments to welcome new residents with excellence.
• Identify and resolve safety or hazard concerns across the community.
• Maintain inventory, manage maintenance budget, and order supplies efficiently.
• Foster a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support emergency and weather-related response needs as required.
• Promote a collaborative culture rooted in respect, ownership, and accountability.
