Job summary

Davis Development, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to maintain a safe, secure living environment for residents, visitors and staff.

You will oversee all maintenance tasks for units and equipment, manage work orders, and ensure move-in readiness while coordinating with vendors and construction crews.

The role requires EPA/OSHA certifications, strong communication, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to hours beyond 40 per week.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of maintenance experience in multi-family property management.
• EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certifications required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication via all channels.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to take emergency calls
• Must have a valid driver’s license and daily transportation
• Will drive a golf cart
• Work over 40 hours per week as business needs deem appropriate

Responsibilities

• Performs all mechanical walks for construction
• Monitors inventory and orders supplies as needed

• Uses expert knowledge to abide by pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials
• Inspects the condition of physical properties throughout the community and corrects unsafe conditions

Job description

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors and staff. It is the Maintenance Supervisor’s duty to anticipate, identify and correct any and all problems involving the property and to implement procedures that will prevent such problems. An effective program of maintenance is essential in order to maintain a safe environment, cultivate resident satisfaction, and protect the investment of the apartment property owner.

What you will do:

• Performs all maintenance tasks for units and equipment
• Manages work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
