Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in heavy manufacturing maintenance.
• Apprenticeship or journeyman training preferred.
• Proficient with hand/power tools and reading technical drawings.
• Experience in electrical & PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance with strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout safety.
• Ensure guards and safety equipment are functional before returning equipment to operators.
• Monitor parts/inventory; place orders and verify receipts.
• Use maintenance management systems to track and report equipment status.
• Read blueprints and schematics to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and quality issues; escalate as needed.
• Perform breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and changeovers.
• Report safety, quality or output issues when unresolved.
• Observe equipment operation with precision tools to diagnose problems.
• Fabricate repair parts using shop tools.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment per regulations.
• Operate forklifts and overhead/portable cranes as needed.
• Support continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts.
• Comply with OSHA standards and ergonomic guidelines.
