Job summary

NewCold is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to head the maintenance team responsible for conveyors, cranes, refrigeration systems and other mechanical equipment. You will plan, schedule and perform preventive maintenance, respond to issues, and drive safety and continuous improvement in a fast-growing cold storage environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of work experience in industrial maintenance or related field
Knowledge of mechanical systems including conveyors, cranes and MHE
Knowledge of electrical systems (low/high voltage 480V, 3-phase motors)
Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold environments
Must follow OSHA regulations and safety procedures

Responsibilities

Lead the maintenance team and oversee daily activities
Plan and schedule preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, cranes, and electrical/mechanical systems
Coordinate with maintenance manager on priorities and resources
Ensure safety compliance and proper documentation of work
