Job summary

United States Cold Storage Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to support the engineering team in keeping a cold-chain facility safe, clean, and functional.

You will perform general upkeep, preventive maintenance, and essential repairs across equipment and systems, with opportunities to assist with refrigeration tasks after training. The role requires physical capability, the ability to lift, and proper use of tools and safety protocols; you will work with a team to ensure reliable

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general hand and power tools.
• Experience with preventative maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the maintenance department.
• Maintain professionalism and teamwork with facility management and staff.
• Complete painting assignments, including at heights and in cold temperatures.
• Maintain and replace forklift batteries; perform routine inspections.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks and inspect safety equipment.
• Conduct regular building maintenance for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Accurately complete work orders and document maintenance activities.
• Participate in training for equipment and safely maintain/repair them.
• Support emergency response efforts.
• Complete annual emergency response physicals.
• Assist with refrigeration tasks if training completed.
