Job summary

PPC Flex is seeking a Maintenance Lead to exemplify safety, professionalism, urgency, and teamwork. You will coach technicians, communicate priorities clearly, and make sound decisions during equipment downtime to keep production moving.

You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and mentor the team to improve reliability. The role requires flexible hours and a strong commitment to safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 3–7 years of maintenance experience, including leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to mentor technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians on assigned shifts.
• Schedule and assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Inspect equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory of spare parts.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule repairs.
• Train and mentor maintenance team members.
• Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
