Job summary

RR Donnelley in Saint Charles, MO is seeking an experienced Army Maintenance Supervisor for 1st shift (7am-3pm) to oversee junior mechanics, assign tasks, and ensure maintenance work meets deadlines and quality standards.

You will track parts inventory, manage maintenance costs, install and repair electrical and mechanical systems, interpret drawings, and coach the team while maintaining production equipment and safe operations.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing production machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, align, and test complex equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and manufacturer specs.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of junior mechanics and supervise maintenance tasks.
• Assign maintenance work, monitor progress, and ensure on-time completion.
• Track maintenance costs and manage parts inventory.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot machinery failures and perform repairs.
• Maintain production equipment and ensure safety standards.
• Coach and train staff on maintenance procedures.
