Job summary

The Gund Company in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Maintenance Operator III for the 2nd Shift (2:30p-10:30p). You will serve as the lead maintenance technician on the second shift, ensuring equipment, systems, and facilities operate safely and reliably.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, read schematics, maintain CMMS records, and collaborate with production teams, vendors, and engineering to drive reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technician and primary maintenance resource on second shift.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and prioritize repairs based on safety and production needs.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes of recurring issues.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams, vendors, contractors, and engineering resources.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and capital improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders within the CMMS system.
• Mentor team members and contribute to maintenance best practices.
