MAGNET HR GROUP LLC. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a property maintenance team, oversee repairs, and ensure buildings are kept to high standards.

You will supervise technicians, delegate tasks, coordinate vendors, monitor inventory, and respond to emergencies on a rotating on-call basis to keep residents safe and comfortable. This full-time role in Texas requires practical trade skills and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, property management, or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
• HVAC and EPO knowledge is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Oversee routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general tasks).
• Maintain organized inventory of supplies and tools; monitor replenishment.
• Coordinate and supervise work by vendors and contractors; ensure quality and compliance.

• Ensure safety compliance with regulations and company policies; conduct inspections.

MAINT. SUPERVISOR POSITION OVERVIEW: The Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of our maintenance team and plays a crucial role in overseeing maintenance operations, conducting repairs, and ensuring properties are well-maintained. This position requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining properties to the highest standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Delegate maintenance tasks, prioritize work orders, and ensure the efficient use of resources.

Maintenance and Repairs

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Inventory and Supplies

• Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor and order supplies as needed to support maintenance operations.

Vendor and Contractor Management

• Coordinate and supervise work performed by third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring quality and compliance with agreements.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement of services and supplies.

Emergency Response

• Be available to respond to maintenance emergencies on a rotating on-call basis, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance and repairs as needed.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local codes, and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, inventory, and safety inspections.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance operations as required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in maintenance, property management, or a related field preferred.
