Job summary

MAGNET HR GROUP LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for property assets. You will supervise technicians, assign tasks, and ensure timely repairs across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems while maintaining safety standards.

This role requires strong leadership, organization, and a proactive approach to inventory, vendor management, and on-call emergency response to keep residents comfortable and facilities well-maintained.

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance, property management, or related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
  • HVAC and EPO preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Delegate maintenance tasks, prioritize work orders, and ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Monitor and order supplies as needed to support maintenance operations.
  • Coordinate and supervise work performed by third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring quality and compliance with agreements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement of services and supplies.
  • Be available to respond to maintenance emergencies on a rotating on-call basis, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.
  • Coordinate emergency maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local codes, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, inventory, and safety inspections.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance operations as required.

MAINT. SUPERVISOR POSITION OVERVIEW

The Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of our maintenance team and plays a crucial role in overseeing maintenance operations, conducting repairs, and ensuring properties are well-maintained. This position requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining properties to the highest standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Delegate maintenance tasks, prioritize work orders, and ensure the efficient use of resources.
Maintenance and Repairs
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.

Inventory and Supplies
  • Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience in maintenance, property management, or a related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
  • HVAC and EPO Preferred

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
