Job summary

Magnet HR SPP is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team and ensure properties are well-maintained. You will lead technicians, schedule tasks, and manage repairs across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on maintenance expertise, and a commitment to safety and documentation. You will coordinate with vendors and ensure timely, quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating repairs.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.

MAINT. SUPERVISOR POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of our maintenance team and plays a crucial role in overseeing maintenance operations, conducting repairs, and ensuring properties are well-maintained. This position requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining properties to the highest standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Leadership:

Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support. Delegate maintenance tasks, prioritize work orders, and ensure the efficient use of resources.

Maintenance and Repairs:

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Inventory and Supplies:

Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Monitor and order supplies as needed to support maintenance operations.

Vendor and Contractor Management:

Coordinate and supervise work performed by third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring quality and compliance with agreements. Manage vendor relationships and procurement of services and supplies.

Emergency Response:

Be available to respond to maintenance emergencies on a rotating on-call basis, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents. Coordinate emergency maintenance and repairs as needed

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local codes, and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, inventory, and safety inspections. Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance operations as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in maintenance, property management, or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks. HVAC and EPO Preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
