Package Crafters Inc., located in High Point, NC, currently has an opening for a 1st shift full time Maintenance Lead to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on corrugated container converting machinery.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment for all fellow employees.
• Effectively troubleshoot and repair manufacturing machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot the electrical and mechanical components of corrugated converting equipment. PLC experience strongly desired.
• Must be a self-starter that can plan and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must be capable of reading electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Must interface with senior management and vendors.
• Must be proficient in analyzing equipment documentation and possess computer skills.
• Demonstrate ability to train/coach proper maintenance procedures to machine crews.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 5 years experience with a strong electrical and mechanical skill set. Corrugated container converting machinery experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot the electrical and mechanical components of corrugated converting equipment. PLC experience strongly desired.
• Higher pay offered for substantial electrical experience.
• Must provide own hand tools, valid NCDL, high school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 6:30-3:30
• Overtime
• Saturdays, as needed
• No less than 40 per week

Pay:

$26.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience, more with substantial electrical experience
