Job Description

Job Summary Details:
The Maintenance Lead troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs HVAC and related equipment as assigned, and assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost-effective manner.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
• High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent is required

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of prior HVAC or mechanical technician experience is preferred
• One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts
• Handle a heavy workload of calls
• Inform customers when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return
• Manage workload and job scheduling
• Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork
• Obtain customer signatures on all service reports (before work begins for spot jobs)
• Keep the manager informed of customer feedback
• Communicate effectively and promptly
• Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to clients, customers, and team
• Collaborate across multiple departments and representatives within the company
• When the supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups
• Report team performance issues to the supervisor

This role is suitable for someone just entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
