Job Summary

The Maintenance Lead manages daily maintenance operations, directs maintenance team members, assists with troubleshooting and repairs, and supports department projects under the guidance of the department manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign daily work orders to maintenance team members
• Monitor progress and completion times of work orders
• Ensure accurate recording of labor, parts, and time on work orders
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs as needed
• Prioritize repair, breakdown, and project work with the department manager

Essential Job Functions

• Lead mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, including leaks, pump systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and mechanical hardware. Proficient in disassembling, reassembling, and fabricating parts. Read schematics and mechanical prints.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

Additional Expectations

Maintain professionalism, communicate effectively, work safely, and demonstrate initiative. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• 7+ years industrial electrical/mechanical experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of industrial systems and troubleshooting
• Proficient with schematics, blueprints, and MS Office
• Experience with Allen Bradley, Indramat, Profibus, Mitsubishi drives/software

Tools & Equipment

Use of hand tools, power tools, safety devices, PPE, computers, forklifts, lifts, etc.

Safety & Working Conditions

Follow safety guidelines, GMP, and Food Safety protocols. Work environment includes machinery, noise, temperature variations, and outdoor conditions.
