You will learn to locate problems using mechanical and electrical observations, use precision tools, and assist in reducing downtime through routine maintenance and inspections.

Qualifikationen

• Must be enrolled at an accredited university/college/trade school pursuing at least a two-year technical degree in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent and have completed the first year of core technical courses.
• Required cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
• Able to work minimum 20 hours starting Summer 2027; schedule may be 20 hours/semester or 40 hours/week in summer (up to 1,000 hours per year).
• Able to work in a production-oriented environment.

Aufgaben

• Support maintenance, engineering, and production; troubleshoot, startup, commission, and maintain plant assets.
• Safely perform tasks and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Onboard as a maintenance trainee intern and learn from current maintenance team and supervisors.
• Observe mechanical/electrical devices to locate sources of problems and use tools and drawings to learn repairs.
